RADIO TELE-SWITCH turn off will end on 30 June 2025
If you have THTC (Total Heating, Total Control) or non smart Economy 7 metering and are an OVO customer, please read the below advice.
“Your current meter uses a long wave radio signal, known as the Radio Tele-switch Signal (RTS). This will be turned off across the UK on 30 June 2025, affecting all energy suppliers with customers using this type of meter. Your meter uses this signal to switch between peak and off-peak times. It’s important we change your meter before the switch-off date so your heating and hot water aren’t affected.
